As a celebrated author and financial empowerment speaker who lives life on purpose, Lisa is on a mission to disrupt generational poverty and eradicate poor thinking about money.
Over the course of her three-decade career, Lisa has successfully become a certified public accountant, Michigan state representative, candidate for Detroit Mayor, chief of staff and public policy director for Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, and an executive leader in higher education. Her degrees include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a Master of Science in Finance from Walsh College.
Today, she proudly serves as the founder and CEO of The Lisa Howze Experience, LLC – a professional development and educational consulting firm.
